Helfferich, Michael, D.O.
Dr. Helfferich was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and attended Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine where he received his medical degree. He received special otolaryngology training at Grandview Medical Center and has been in practice since 1992.
Dr. Helfferich is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology & Otorhinolaryngology, has a Certificate of Added Qualification in Otolaryngic Allergy, and is a Fellow of the American Osteopathic Colleges of Ophthalmology, Southwest Ohio ENT Specialists and a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, Southwest Ohio ENT Specialists.
He sees all aspects of ear nose and throat problems with a special interest in pediatric patients and the treatment of allergy and sinus conditions. Dr. Helfferich is an Associate Professor for Wright State University School of Medicine and Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. In addition, he is the Otolaryngology Residency Program Director at Grandview Hospital and is the Chairman of the Otolaryngology Section at Grandview and Southview Hospitals. And, he participates in sports physicals and provides care for University of Dayton sports athletes.
