Dietz, Wolfgang, M.D.
Dr. Dietz was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio and attended Manchester College in Indiana where he received his Bachelor’s Degree. He then went on to attend the Medical College of Ohio where he earned his Medical Degree and later Wright State University where he received surgery training. He received his specialized Otolaryngology training from the Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in Texas.
Dr. Dietz served in the U.S. Air Force as a flight surgeon and otolaryngologist and has been associated with Dayton Southwest Ohio specialists since 1996. While he treats all aspects of ear, nose and throat issues, he has a special interest in ear surgery to include tympanoplasty (repair of the ear drum), mastoidectomy, and surgery for hearing improvement (stapedectomy – bone anchored hearing aid, cochlear implants). He also treats adult thyroid, head and neck tumors and sinus disorders.
Dr. Dietz also treats pediatric ear, nose and throat problems and is currently Chief of Otolaryngology at Children’s Medical Center.
